America NEEDS a drastic paradigm shift from what we are being told in much of the media to the reality of life in America without access to affordable health care. This is no longer about anyone taking advantage of the system.  It is about what is moral, ethical, just and civilized. We NEED a single-payer health system with gauranteed access and everyone buys in.  We claim to be the number one country but we are not in the top 20 nations that take care of their people in terms of access to affordable health care.  In 2012 trying to find a doctor to see you unless you have private insurance to supplement Medicare is a challenge.  Without Medicare many of our elderly would suffer greatly and die from a lack of health care.  It is immoral and outrageous anywhere; it is unforgiveable in the United States of America.

As Governor of MA, Romney put in place a good health care plan years ago; it works.  Now that President Obama has embraced aspects of that same plan, Gov. Romney, in order to appeal to the business people who benefit from health care as a major profit source, has condemned the President’s plan; essentially, he has now condemned the very plan he put in place.  Any type of economic plan, or anything to help the country to do better that the President puts forward is immediately condemned by the Republicans for political reasons.  Gov. Romney and much of the Republican leadership (Mitch McConnell said his number one job is to prevent President Obama from being re-elected) would rather see the American economy fail than President Obama get re-elected. Where is the interest of the country? What about the oath to serve and protect?  What about the christian principles to which much lips service is paid?  Gov. Romney now preaches against outsourcing of American jobs, and he should; however, Mitt Romney made much of his fortune by investing in companies that outsourced American jobs.  Is that greed, hypocrisy or politics as usual?  Maybe it is the politics of the wealthy. You decide.
