1. Cervical Cancer Cells in the cervix become abnormal & multiply out of control.

Risk Factors for Cervical Cancer
- #1: Human Papilloma Virus (HPV);  #2 Risk Factor - Multiple Sexual Partners
- HPV is a sexually transmitted disease (STD).
- Women often do not realize they are infected with HPV.
- HPV, causes genital warts; may produce a foul odor
- Damage the cervical cells; lead to unregulated growth of abnormal cells.
- Prevention - Annual Pap Test; Do Not Smoke; Avoid multiple sexual partners; use condoms

2. Endometrial / Uterine Cancer – Defined-
 Abnormal cellular growth of the Endometrium (tissue that lines a woman's uterus) -  Normally shed each month during Menstrual Cycle
- Most commonly diagnosed in post-menopausal women
- 95% of cases occur in women 40 years of age or older. Young Women Get Endometrial Cancer
- 40K Women Diagnosed Yearly in USA -  Risk Factor : Obesity, Long-term use of ERT, early menses and late menopause.

3. Ovarian Cancer – involves abnormal cell growth that begins in the ovaries
Ovarian is divided into three types:
Epithelial tumors, Germ cell tumors & Sex-Cord Stromal

Genetic Factors are Suspected in Ovarian Cancer
- BRCA 1 & BRCA 2 (that increase risks) run in families; other risk factors seem to be in:
- Women who have never been pregnant
- Women who had early menstrual cycle & late onset of menopause
